Most families will need some extra help and support at some point, and this may come from family and friends. But some families may need help and support from local agencies, these may include, health, or housing for example. 

Early help aims to get agencies working together to support families quickly. This is because tackling a problem early can stop it from getting worse. Early help can be given to any family with a child up to the ages of 18.
