Our Vision and Values
Our Vision:
Guiding with love, inspiring to flourish: Experiencing ‘life in all its fullness’
Inspired to offer ‘Life in all its Fullness’ by Jesus the Good Shepherd (John 10:10 – 11), our school is a safe, inclusive and joyful flock, where every individual is cherished, known, guided and empowered to grow in mind, body and spirit.
Known and Nurtured: Just as the Good Shepherd knows, protects and guides his sheep, we foster a deeply caring, tight knit family community. We ensure that every child feels safe, valued and unconditionally supported through life’s challenges.
Life in all its fullness. We offer a rich, broad curriculum and vibrant experiences that allow every child to discover their God given talents and passions.
Flourishing Together: We provide a foundation of hope, resilience and wisdom, so that our children can make positive choices, overcome obstacles and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Core Values:
Cam Hopton CE Primary School is a Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary School, rooted deeply in the Anglican tradition. Our foundation reflects the Church of England's commitment to guide and nurture the whole child through a theologically grounded Christian vision. This vision, underpinned by John 10:10-11, guides how we live, learn, and grow together as a faith community.
Our daily actions and relationships are built upon values that reflect the heart of Jesus as the Good Shepherd (John 10:11), who cares for his sheep. He is generous to all his sheep and persevered in caring for them – the one as well as the ninety-nine. We aim for the bravery to try new things and bounce back from disappointment, care for others and give our time as friends to others. The sheep trust and respect the Good Shepherd and listen to his voice. So we aim to share our work and praise with others and be proud of our achievements, taking turns, asking questions and treating others as we want to be treated. The Good Shepherd laid down his life for his flock in an act that brings forgiveness to all. We aim to have courage to make mistakes and to show compassion to others when they do. In understanding His creativity in storytelling, we are inspired to problem solve, take responsibility and ownership of learning and set inspiring goals. At Cam Hopton ‘Living life in all its fullness’ is to show these Christian values in our daily lives and be the best that we can be.
